This creamy no-bake Caribbean Cream dessert is whipped up quickly for an instant summer in a bowl.
Caribbean Cream - No Bake Dessert
This no-bake Caribbean cream dessert is super yummy and, like almost all of my recipes, quick to make. I know, I sound like a broken record.
Now, let me prove it to you.
While my husband did some snow-blowing and shoveling, I made Italian chicken with Kurdish rice pilaf, and this Caribbean cream for dessert, for him to warm up. How's that for a round-up of international dishes? All are easy and quick to make. Or maybe my husband took extra time outside. Nah.
This dessert is out of this world! We couldn’t stop mmm-ing and we literally licked the bowls. I made it again two days later.
Even better:
I ran out of the heavy cream and used frozen whipped cream instead. So creamy!
How to Make Caribbean Cream - No-Bake Dessert:
- Stir together the yogurt and cream with the rum, if you’re using it, and whisk until slightly thickened.
- Slice the banana and then divide the slices between two one-cup ramekins to form a layer at the bottom of each one. Spoon the thickened yogurt and cream mixture filling the ramekins equally.
- Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of sugar over each ramekin, and then wrap them in plastic wrap and refrigerate for a couple of hours, or until the sugar has dissolved. Garnish with shredded coconut if desired.

Jas, you truly are an international lady. I honestly wouldn't know where to go to find coconut yogurt. But the rest I can manage. Going to check out your chicken recipe!
Jas says
Oh, Mary, maybe I wasn't clear. It is not yogurt made of coconut, but rather coconut-flavored yogurt. Oops. You can find flavored yogurt in any dairy isle 🙂
Katie says
Although Chobani does have a coconut dairy-alternative yogurt out now, they also have a coconut flavored yogurt which is especially delightful.

Looks yummy. I wish someone else in my house liked coconut so I could make this & not have to eat it all myself. Lol pinned Thanks for joining us at the Inspiration Spotlight party.

I wish someone in my house didn't like coconut so I HAVE to eat it all myself, lol. It only makes two servings and it's light, so no worries. 😉
