Start your day off right with this creamy, healthy, and delicious oatmeal bowl. It is both a breakfast and a dessert. Who can argue with that?
When it comes to eating healthily, Flahavan's advice is to start small. Take the time to eat a healthier breakfast.
Chocolate oatmeal porridge is my number one choice every morning. It is very satisfying, and best of all it tastes great hot or cold. So I usually cook enough oatmeal to last me a few days.
I don't always put Irish Cream in it. Although the amount is hardly noticeable, please replace it with milk if you're serving this recipe to your kids.
But do add it to your batch, because what better way to celebrate an Irish saint than with Irish Cream and Irish oatmeal, amirite?
Here comes the best part:

Slow Food is a global, grassroots organization that works to prevent the disappearance of local food cultures and traditions.
Their goal is to counteract the rise of the "fast life" mentality and combat people's dwindling interest in the food they eat, where it comes from, and how our food choices affect the world around us.
I'm all about easy ways to get healthy and this Irish Cream chocolate oatmeal porridge with naturally creamy Flahavan's oats is one of the yummiest ways to get on track.
